I goofed on the SCOR program

Hi Meeting Participants, 

I goofed on the first version of the SCOR meeting program and left out a couple of presentations. Version 2 of the meeting abstract and schedule are now live. Please use this second version of the meeting abstracts.

The pdf copy of the meeting program is now available. I've tried to catch as many typos as possible, but if you see any egregious errors let me know and I'll try to fix them. See you at the meeting!

Jaysheel has been hard at work making an elegant on-line presentation of the meeting schedule. I think everyone will be satisfied with the results. We hope to have a pdf download version ready by later today or Monday May 4th.

We're learning!

So we've experienced a few growing pains with the on-line meeting registration, but we're learning and improving the meeting site.  It is now possible for student's and post-docs to submit an abstract for the abstract competition without payment. For everyone else, there is a registration and abstract submission site that will process credit card payments for the meeting registration. Please give the new sites a try and get your registrations in.

Changes to SCOR meeting Abstract submission

Hi Viral Ecologists,

We've made some changes to the abstract submission form. Jaysheel has placed an example entry on the site. Please follow the example. Place author names at the top, followed by affiliations and then the text of the abstract (no more than 250 words please). Number the affiliations and then place the numbers behind each of the author names to connect each author with their affiliate institution. Finally, please place and asterisk by the presenting authors name.

If you want to submit more than one abstract please send additional abstracts to the meeting organizer (Eric Wommack, wommack_at_dbi_dot_udel_dot_edu and copy my assistant, Vicki Paisley vpaisley_at_udel_dot_edu). Thanks for tolerating our growing pains with the web site. Looking forward to a great meeting.

The SCOR Virus Ecology meeting site is now a living entity on the net! I will periodically post updates and developments surrounding plans for the meeting on this blog site. Looking forward to a great meeting!
